MEET OWNER AMY JOHNSON

SWEET TILLIES is a small, family owned & operated

Baklava (pronounced Bah-Kla-wa at Sweet Tillies) Bakery

based in New Kensington, Pennsylvania.

Sweet Tillies owner, Amy Johnson (Tillie), always remembers helping her mother and her Sittoo in the kitchen at a very young age. Family, Food & Fun were the main ingredients in her family growing up, as well as, lots of Love & Care. As her love for cooking and baking strengthened throughout her life, She always wanted to be able to include all of her loves and talents into one realm.

Baking Baklava at home with her mother since she was seven, Amy recognized that the Baklava sold commercially did not live up to her family kitchen standards. It was never like her family’s recipe baked at home. Amy also realized no one had ever tried incorporating New & Exciting Flavors into Baklava. Hence, Sweet Tillies was born.

We hope we can share our love of Gourmet Flavored Baklava and Sweet Thoughts with the rest of the world.

At Sweet Tillies, Our Baklava is Baked Fresh, with only the finest and freshest ingredients. We use Clarified Sweet Cream Butter, Pure Sugar Cane Syrup and only the finest and freshest California Walnuts and Texas Pecans available.

We Hand-Layer and Hand-Butter Brush each Sweet Tray of Baklava with Love and Care.
